The learning framework

Anatomy of a focused lesson

Each session moves from a clear focus to guided practice and a quick check for understanding.

10 minutes

Wonder and question

Start with a real-world question or demonstration that connects the week’s Grade 7 topic to everyday life.

25 minutes

Explore and explain

Investigate the idea with visuals and simple experiments, then explain what was observed using key vocabulary.

10 minutes

Check for understanding

Finish with a short exit task so the tutor knows exactly what to revisit next lesson.
