Quest Overview

QuestX is an exciting international mathematics challenge organized by Math Make Smart, which launches bright young thinkers on a journey of curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving.

Adventurers all across Australia, from Year 3 to Year 10, would embark on a quest, tackling unique problems, reasoning, logic, and cognitive skills.

The Quest spans over four levels, each level is a unique journey. From our Smart Questers, the Novas and Voyagers, stepping into the maze to take on the mission. To our Masters of the Quest, the Titans and Legends.

No matter your level, every quest begins with one brave mind ready to take it on.

Who can participate in Quest X?

Students from Year 3 to Year 10 across Australia can participate, either individually or through their school.

Calculators are only allowed for L9 Legends (Year 9–10). No calculators permitted for other levels.

You may use a laptop, desktop, or tablet with a stable internet connection. Mobile phones are not recommended.

 Final confirmed dates will be announced on the registration page and emailed to participants.

You will receive 25 multiple-choice questions that test logic, reasoning, problem-solving, and maths skills.

No. Once a question is submitted or the timer ends, you will move to the next question. This ensures fairness for all students

Yes! All participants receive an e-certificate of participation. Toppers receive additional awards and recognition.
